Quality Assurance lead/Automation Tester

Salary: £55k-£60k + benefits package

Full Time / Permanent

Location: UK wide candidates can pick either London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Wales, Liverpool or Sheffield (remote for now)

Must be willing to undergo SC clearance.

We have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Quality Assurance Lead / Automation Tester for our global consultancy client.

Our client is one of the industry leaders in testing services delivering across the public sector in the UK. They deliver a wide variety of projects across multiple technology platforms into numerous business areas. It is a fast paced and challenging environment to work within. We are looking for dynamic, ambitious individuals who want to become part of their high performing teams.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance lead/Automation Tester, to join our team providing an Application Management Service for cloud native services hosted in Microsoft Azure DevOps / Microsoft 365 environment. The team will work in collaboration with development teams on an agile/scrum programme, triaging and reproducing Live Service Incidents, and completing assurance against sprint tickets/change requests.

We are interested in seeing candidates with a good mix of the following:

*Creation of and maintenance of automation frameworks using Java, and Selenium WebDriver

*Manual/Regression testing of web applications

*Accessibility Testing via SortSite

*Working in a Microsoft Azure CI/CD environment, with GIT version control

*Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement/Field Services modules

*Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management, or ITIL Foundation certified

*Working in an Agile/scrum project environment

*Be able to work independently and to work collaboratively with other members in the support or development teams providing Java assistance to our clients

*You should be able to manage your tasks and update and resolve incidents/problems according to the client to Service Levels

*You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to develop other colleagues

*The following would also be desirable skills/experience:

*GDS Experience

*Azure DevOps

*Experience in Octopus Deploy

*Experience of ITIL and specifically Service Now

*Experience of performance testing

*Experience of integration tools, Microsoft Logic Apps and Function Apps, Azure Service Bus

*Have used Jira/Confluence
