Job DescriptionI am currently recruitng for an exciting Migration Analyst position at a reputable Belfast based partner. The client in question is seeking an experienced migration expert with a desire to further develop/gain new leadership experience.

Role & ResponsibilitiesWork within the Data Analyst team ensuring appropriate development quality processes and procedures are in place for the work being undertaken and that team members adhere to them (best practices and governance)Encourage others in the analyst team to develop their own skills around Data Migration by providing leadership on this areaMaintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with the business in bringing new technologiesDelivering informal ad-hoc sessions to staff on data migration and other data areas and products for overall awarenessWork closely with the Product team to determine the optimum feature sets for productsAssist with pre-sales activities relating to software development for new customers including tender response preparation, customer presentations, and providing development estimates

Skills & QualificationsSubstantial experience in providing data analysis or business data analysis to clients in a software development environmentExperience of delivering customer discovery workshops for the creation of detailed specification documents to be used in data migrationAble to work within tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of client demands Able to rapidly absorb new technical information and apply it effectivelyAble to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targetsKnowledge and experience of three or more of the following technologies and skills:-SQL Server

-SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

-SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

-SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

-Power BI

-Data Warehousing, including multi-dimensional cube design, implementation and deployment
