Senior Software Developer 

Leeds, West Yorkshire (Otley, LS21)

Salary £40,000 - £55,000 (Agile Working)

Permanent , Full Time 

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Developers to become key members of our fast growing Software Development team. 

Developed using the latest code and technologies, we provide industry leading recruitment software and services to our customers. 

As part of the Development team helping us to improve our software, you will get exposure to the full technology stack including the latest code technologies while working in a fast moving environment where no two days are the same. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong Software development experience to be involved in the full software development life cycle, and develop business-critical features and services.

Working in the multi-disciplined Development team, day to day you will be:

Developing enhancements to existing software features

Working from development specifications and with key stakeholders to develop new features

Taking part in daily Scrum meetings

Researching and developing with new technologies

Mentoring junior team members

What we are looking for:

You will have at least 7-8 years experience in a commercial software development environment developing web based software solutions. You will have strong technical skills with a proven track record at delivering reliable software to deadlines. You'll be able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and help resolve complex problems.  You will be comfortable working with all areas of the business, from junior colleagues to senior stakeholders. You will be willing to share your experience and knowledge with the team, recognise the limits of your own knowledge and embrace opportunities to learn. 

Essential Skills:

VB or C# .NET MVC web application development

HTML / CSS / JavaScript / JQuery

Microsoft SQL Server

Azure DevOps

Git

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex solutions to non-technical colleagues
