Indirect Buyer

Remote with travel to Newcastle once a week

Inside of IR35

Key Responsibilities:

*Managing the tendering and bench marking processes, minimising risks through contract management, and driving value from suppliers through relationship management.

*Negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimum cost, service levels, and preferred terms and conditions.

*Managing an effective sourcing strategy to provide continuity of supply of products and services whilst not compromising long-term business strategy.

*Conducting commercial reviews with suppliers to ensure alignment of supplier agreements to the business requirements and aiding with supplier relationship management where required.

Experience Required:

*A tertiary quali?cation in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or equivalent coupled with at least 3 to 5 years Indirect Procurement experience is required.

*FMCG experience will be advantageous

*Strong supplier negotiation skills as well as the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders is required.
