Cloud & IT Infrastructure Engineer - South Staffordshire / WFHCloud (AWS or Azure), Linux, MS Windows Server & Desktop, O365, Virtualisation, VMware, Hyper- V, Networking and Storage - SAN/NAS, Azure and/or AWS Cloud and Scalability of infrastructures, Server Clustering and Load Balancing. Networking including: Proven ability to troubleshoot network and server issues such as performance and scalability.Role is WFH with Client HQ based in South Staffordshire£35,000pa to £40,000pa + BenefitsPermanent Role | Full time 9am to 5:30pm + O/T This Experis IT client are a "Leader of the New School" in Cloud Services and are soon to be an award-winning MSP with offices in South Staffordshire. They are delivering world class IT Infrastructure, Cloud and IT Consulting Services to a wide range of business sectors. The role includes third-line support requirements for multiple clients configuring, deploying, monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting both on-premises and cloud-based customer Infrastructures, Networks, Servers and Desktop environments.PLEASE NOTE: Although this role is a designated WFH (Work from Home) role, it is still a hands-on IT Engineering role, therefore, the role will require some flexibility with travel i.e. occasional trips to the HQ as well as occasional travel to client sites for project work, installs, integrations, deployments and technical support.The skills required:Experience in Cloud (AWS or Azure)Linux (either/or RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian etc), MS Windows Server & Desktop, O365 etcVirtualisation, VMware, Hyper- V,Networking and Storage - SAN/NAS.Experience in Virtualisation / Cloud and Scalability of infrastructuresServer Clustering and Load Balancing.Experience of Networking including: Proven ability to troubleshoot network and server issues such as performance and scalability.Previous experience dealing with multiple clients and products.Excellent standard of written and spoken English.Excellent communication skills.Experience working with clients at a senior level.A Full UK Driving License.Your Duties will include:Provide Support and Client Facing Consultancy around data security, networking, databases, virtualisation,hosting, and other areas of infrastructure.Provide leadership for multiple client projects across product portfolio ensuring timely updates and delivery of committed tasks.Deploy and manage hosted platforms to deliver customer solutionsBe accountable for the Client's internal IT infrastructureAct as a 3rd line escalation point for Service Desk, including incident management and liaison with clients.Ensure proactive monitoring and support of the IT infrastructure, including effective, regular, and well-planned maintenance to minimise downtime and impact to clients.Ensure that all system changes follow company change management processes.Produce IT infrastructure policy documentation, implementation, and governance.Undertake activities on client sites as required.The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in an MSP-related IT support role (or equivalent)Dynamic and flexible 'can-do' attitudeAbility to work under pressure and a fast pace environmentFull UK Driving LicenseTake this opportunity to rise above your peers and call Experis IT today!
