This rapidly expanding Data Consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a range of Analytics projects. As a Data Engineer you will support BI programmes and projects in design and implementation of the Consultancy's Azure based Data and Business Analytics Platform as well as documenting design guides, and infrastructure guides.Client Details Rapidly expanding Data Consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner DescriptionThis rapidly expanding Data Consultancy and Microsoft Gold Partner are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a range of Analytics projects. As a Data Engineer you will support BI programmes and projects in design and implementation of the Consultancy's Azure based Data and Business Analytics Platform as well as documenting design guides, and infrastructure guides. You will use your well-developed analysis skills to implement and maintain data platforms and Master Data Management implementations built predominantly on Microsoft's Azure PaaS platform, on behalf of clients, and as part of a managed service solution. This role work very closely with the Analytical consultants to ensure data is available, in a suitable architecture for data modelling, visualisations and advanced analytics. This is a great opportunity for you to be further trained on / build upon and master many modern tools including Microsoft Azure Data Services and Master Data Management solutions. This will also include developing knowledge of new languages being Python (including PySpark) and SQL for unstructured queries amongst others. Key responsibilities: Running data and infrastructure workshops and be responsible for agreeing and gaining sign off with the customer. While being hands on, you will lead and support others in the Data Engineering function and provide guidance to the senior team and analytical teams.Work with a range of stakeholders across multiple clients to provide architectural support and design and implement ETL, or ELT dependant on the client infrastructure and data security requirements.Articulate the Consultancy's Information Strategy Methodology to customers

appropriate contextWork with the CTO and data engineering team to develop the Consultancy's Information

Strategy Methodology from a technical perspectiveAdhering to a standardised architecture and following a consistent project approach across numerous customers.Implementing, managing, and supporting data platforms in the form of Cloud based 'big data' platforms or traditional (database) Data Warehousing.Work with partners' products and implement their solutionConsulting with business users to gather BI requirements in relation to the ETL/ELTWork alongside the CTO to scope and define data requirements to support the development

of analytical outputs, aligned to the Information Strategy Methodology and other

programme outcomes.Conducting development testing and end-user acceptance testing, using and managing multiple environments from development, testing, production Technical Skills required: There is an opportunity to train and develop your skills in any of the technical requirements listed below, but demonstrable expertise in Data Warehouse development is essential.
