Your role in a nutshell Are you looking for a high-profile, exciting Data Visualisation role? If so, I have an exciting opportunity to work within The Body Shop (TBS).
This is a great opportunity; we are undergoing a massive Data transformation with scalable growth to invigorate the brand.
This is a Greenfield Data and Insights Platform development, a blank slate so to speak.
As we build our new data platform, how we use our data is incredibly important to our business, you would be able to help shape and define the data future of our business and if you want to be part of something special look no further. More about the role The Analytics Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and support of Analytical and Business Intelligence reports. The role will include working with the Data Business Partner and wider business to gather reporting requirements, key KPIs and user needs to ensure that reports are specific and satisfy business objectives. The Analytics Analyst will have acquired a robust set of reporting skills in SQL, Analytical, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau), which will be required when analysing large datasets, and building innovative reports to communicate actionable insights in an effective and understandable manner. Key Job Accountabilities: Engage with business units to gather business and reporting requirements Translate business requirements into visualisations, dashboards or reporting metrics Prepare, manipulate and analyse large datasets to deliver relevant insights Produce business unit-specific analysis, reports and dashboards regularly or upon request Provide technical assistance to employees across the business to help build a self-service culture. Provide training and assistance to users of reports or dashboards generated  What we look for Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with an ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insight Proficiency with development and deployment of self-service BI tools e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts Knowledge of data pipelines and other data extraction techniques Proven development experience including processing, manipulating, and analysing large datasets Knowledge of software development lifecycle An ability to deliver innovative visualisations/reports within a business context and communicate them to stakeholders Proven experience developing and implementing self-service visualisations and dashboards for a complex organisation Experience working in a requirements analysis role Specialist knowledge of, and extensive experience working with, Excel and self-service BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik   The Body Shop When Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in 1976, she had a vision.
