As a Client and Tech focused MSP, Netteam tX have a new opportunity for a technically focused person looking to move their career onto the next level. Due to our commitment of delivering high level solutions to our expanding range of clients, we are looking for a 1st Line IT Technician to join our busy and thriving Helpdesk team.

With Offices in Newbury and Manchester as well as a team of field engineers working out of London, you could become part of this dynamic team, supporting a range of high-end Corporate clients and Hotel.

About the role:

We are looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to join the team in the Newbury office. The successful candidate will already have a basic experience of resolving issues and the ability to liaise with customers and is perfect for someone who wants to expand upon their existing skill set, experience and training with the future intention of moving into a 2nd/3rd Line IT Support Technical role.

This opportunity is perfectly suited for the person looking to gain more experience within a 1st Line position. Training will be offered to support the candidate in enhancing their existing skill set and develop the individual to support future aspirations moving to a 2nd /3rd Line role, within a fast growing, yet established technology focused MSP.

About you:

Experience

  • Be able to demonstrate a good all-round knowledge of IT principles
  • Experience with PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask, AEM and IT Glue to provide enhanced support services to all clients
  • Have a proven history of being able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a client base which specialises in Small Business and/or Hospitality via remote connectivity, telephone, or email
  • Experience in initial remote diagnostics along with analysis and monitoring
  • Possesses good verbal and typed communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities
  • Ability to working unsupervised, independently and as part of a team
  • Thrive on understanding and being aware of new and current technologies
  • IT related degree or relevant qualifications highly desirable
  • Proven technical ability across the common product suites
  • The willingness to learn new software and hardware skills.

Technical requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions including Office 365 and Azure
  • Proven experience with Desktop & Server admin across the Microsoft stack
  • Overall appreciation of client system security, requirements and proven experience with relevant software and hardware solutions
  • Candidates with Microsoft Certifications would prove advantageous.

  • Ability to research new products and information around technical solutions that provide answers and solve problems
  • Self-Motivated and disciplined, with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.
