Initial 6 Months Contract

International Banking Group

£820pd (incorporating the PAYE uplift 17.3%)

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Apex Developer to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

You will be responsible for the quality delivery of Apex work for the Apex 7 upgrade project. Working closely with key stakeholders, other project members and with the vendor to identify and design solutions for business functionality and production issues.

Working with the Apex BAU team to ensure the functional requirements meeting the Apex code deployed in

production.

Experience / Skills (Not all Required)

*Experience working on financial products for Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank

*Exposure to the practical support of a wide range of trading platforms such as Apex

*Knowledge of Repo, Stock Borrow Lending and Structured products

*Working knowledge of Repo and Securities regulatory requirements such as MiFid, SFTR etc.,

*At least 6 years of working with Apex as a Business Analyst.

*Ability to accurately document and share information with global peer group

*Derivatives,Repo,SBL product experience

*Windows/SQL

*FIX Protocol/Understanding of FIX messages

*STP solutions

*Technical and analytical skills.

*Bachelors in Finance or related business field (or equivalent experience).

*Thorough understanding in end to end trade flow, pricing and trade booking.

*Ability to understand business problems and solve with technical solutions.

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35, and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is up to £700pd + 17.3% Uplift. The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate. The total pay to your umbrella is £821.10.
