IT Manager Newbury to £70k

IT Manager / Director (Windows Networking Security Technology). Would you like to take on a high responsibility role where you'll be able to have a lot of ownership and influence within a successful technology team? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous leadership experience within an IT team to step up into a Manager / Director level role.

Hugely successful IT distributor that works with a number of well-known tech companies such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams is seeking a friendly and collaborative IT Manager to join their growing team. You'll report into the company COO and will have two direct reports; the Head of IT and the Head of Development who have a further 6 direct reports between them. This is a brand new position within the company that will enable you to have a lot of autonomy and ownership of projects, budgets and people development. Your day to day duties will include; overseeing IT operations, infrastructure and employees, developing and implementing new projects, managing budgets, liaising with other teams across the company to identify any issues or improvements and overall being a friendly and approachable go to person within the IT team.  

Based in Newbury you'll be joining a friendly and supportive company that have a great culture. You won't be expected to be in the office every day and once you're up to speed you can WFH 1 - 2 days per week.

Requirements:

An experienced IT Lead / Manager who has previously worked within Windows environments

Experience working with development teams previously

Solid knowledge of IT operations, systems and networks

Very good leadership and project management skills

Experience supporting 100 + internal users

A friendly, supportive and collaborative person

Excellent communication skills

As an IT Manager you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £70k) plus benefits and a car allowance.
