£55,000-65,000 + 25 days Holiday + Pension + Life Insurance

Excellent opportunity for an Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing Energy Performance and Solutions company, where you will have responsibility, autonomy, and play a vital part in the company's growth and success in their innovative renewable projects.

Reporting to the Head of Design, in this role you will have responsible for managing complex projects, communicating with clients, the design team, and internal and external stakeholders whilst also delivering energy saving solutions on live sites.

The successful candidate will be experienced in Mechanical design, Major Plant, have excellent communication skills and be commercially aware. You will need to be happy travelling around the UK.

The role:

* Develop and deliver and review mechanical designs

* Operation in live environment (commercial infrastructure)

* Communicate with clients, design team,

* Report and documentation

* Manage people, projects and resources

* Project specification and Feasibility studies

* Working on client sites throughout the UK

The Person:

* Major Plant experience (boiler plant room and steam systems)

* Knowledge of general construction processes

* Experience working in commercial infrastructure

* Experienced in Project ownership and management

* Excellent communication skills

* Willing to travel around the UK
