Senior Project ManagerPortsmouth / Remote6 Months£550 p/day negotiable (inside IR35)My client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience of managing software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in the defence or maritime sector. This role is based in Portsmouth but will be a mix of remote and onsite working.

The successful candidate will join an existing and experienced team within the Technology Department. This department is a growing part of the business with a diverse portfolio of novel and interesting projects. We are looking for the suitable candidate to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and personal qualities.

* Proven ability to decompose complex issues, to an appropriate level of detail, in a methodical manner.

* Proven ability to identify, mitigate risks and resolve issues before impact to maintain project timescales and cost.

* Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.

* Operating in a Safe & Secure manner.

* Application of governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work.
