£50,000 to £65,000 + Holiday + Pension + Casual Dress Superb opportunity for an Embedded Linux Engineer to join a thriving company with an outstanding reputation for quality and service involved in integration of hardware, software, services and expertise to deliver building blocks. They continue to address the challenge of creating end to end solutions to flawlessly interconnect smart objects and move valuable data between machines. This company is a global entity operating in in UK, Europe, North America and Japan. Operating since 1982, they started addressing the task of real-time control of machines, understanding that the right answer delivered too late becomes the wrong answer, so they learned how to certify precision and reliability together with timely delivery of information. In this role you will work on development and maintenance of Linux support across the companies line of embedded products. You will be collaborating with a group of engineers on projects and also owning a project of your own in line with SCRUM. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to existing Linux development and award winning Everyware™cloud internet of things (IoT) program. You will have knowledge of security techniques and best practices. You will also work with Yocto build systems throughout projects. This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Embedded Linux Engineer to utilise their expertise and practice their skills in a dynamic atmosphere.
