Continually Improving the predictability and effectiveness of strategically important software delivery.Actively Managing Digital Services during their lifecycle. Providing design and architectural options to key stakeholders, driving forward decisions and a longer term sustainable software architecture;Inspire and enable teams to create an agile culture of high performance, collaboration, and trust.Support our Agile project delivery methods by ensuring that teams are effective, productive, accountable and focused on business objectivesEnsuring the utilisation of User Centred Design and data driven iteration.The identification of the resources needed for systems development and how this will be met with an effective supply capacity. Building the capacity and capability of the team.The alignment of systems development activity and deliverables with agreed architectures and standards. Working collaboratively with other members of the Architectural Review Board (ARB), actively participating, providing technical leadership and responsibility for maturing the ARB to support change management, projects, programme activity and long-term architectural roadmaps/planning.The development of technology roadmaps to communicate future systems development plans.Working with Application Support, Software Testing and Infrastructure to ensure sufficient environments are available to reduce blockages.Ensure the efficient adoption of live software by business colleagues, users and the Application Support team.Ensure all digital developments are delivered against GDS standards (and frameworks)Management of Software Development Partner including responsibility for their delivery and the identification & communication of risk.ProfileAble to ensure delivery momentum by solving issues and unblocking problems.
