Working as a Network Support Engineer you will develop, maintain, continuously improve, and support networks both in the IT and OT environment. You will be providing Network oversight, ensuring successful delivery, performance, and security of Network services for our clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Level Targets.Client DetailsMichael Page are delighted to be partnered with this global organisation to support on the recrutment of a Network Engineer.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:Working as a Network Support Engineer you will develop, maintain, continuously improve, and support networks both in the IT and OT environment. You will be providing Network oversight, ensuring successful delivery, performance, and security of Network services for our clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Level Targets.Responsibilities:You will contribute to the roadmap for the development and evolution of Networks that are appropriate for the current needs as well as scalable for the future needs of the business.This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in several upcoming projects and to be involved in corporate, cross-site projects.ProfileKey Skills & Experience:We're looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role supporting and maintaining corporate Network infrastructure within an industrial environment.Other essential skills required includes:Cisco networking equipment including reference architectures for datacentre, branch and campus (CCNP, CCDP, CCIE desirable);Security Certifications CISM Certified Information Security Manager, CISSP Certified Information Systems Security ProfessionalDesigning and deploying highly available solutionsProven ability to collaboratively pursue issue resolution and push for long term and permanent solutions to on-going problems.Understanding of fundamental computer architecture, networking, virtualisation, storage and operating system concepts.LAN, WAN, switching & routing, firewall, load balancers, WIFICisco ISE and WLCExperience with SolarWindsUnderstanding of ITIL processesMonitoring Infrastructure and system alertsAbility to manage network cabling installations (Cat6 and fibre optic)Job OfferSalary:£45,000 per annumBenefits:Entry into our defined contribution company pension schemeUp to 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Medical coverage and much, much more!
