GCP Security EngineerCentral London - PermanentWorking for a global tech giant, supporting a flagship account.Required - Experience & ResponsibilitiesWorking experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and deployment, i.e. architecture best practices, CI/CD, visualized compute environments (Windows and Linux), identity management, containers, microservices, API management and strong functional understanding of cloud and data center network topologies, enterprise and mobile security, cloud identity, automation/design techniques, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with converged infrastructure and virtualization systems including Nutanix, VMWare, Cisco UCS, KVM, and Microsoft Hyper-V. Working experience with containers and associated technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Serverless, and Microservices and practical experience with Modern Application Development technologies including CI/CD, Ant, Maven, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Saltstack, and Terraform Experience with Networking Technologies including software defined networks, DNS, Software Load Balancers, Network Authentication, and Identity Management Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa. Customer facing experience of discovery, assessment, execution, and operations. Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management. Willingness to travel around 30%-40% Qualification & Certifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.Minimum: Google Associate Cloud EngineerPreferred: Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security EngineerDeep expertise on Security in GCPDeep expertise with Terraform/Terraform EnterpriseWorking experience with containers and associated technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Serverless, and Microservices and practical experience with Modern Application Development technologies including CI/CD, Ant, Maven, Gradle, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Saltstack, and Terraform.Contact Simon Portway: [email protected] or 0203 868 5196
