Quality Manager (manufacturing)Bristol£60,000 - £65,000 + Autonomy + Health Care + Pension + HolidayA fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager from a precision engineering background to join a prestigious & internationally respected manufacturing company as they continue to thrive and push the boundaries of quality and precision.On offer is a management position offering autonomy and full responsibility of the companies quality process.This company has gone from strength to strength since its founding, they now employ over 150 specialist engineers and play a huge part in UK specialist manufacturing. They have recently invested massive amounts in new sites, allowing them to continue to lead the way in their market sector. As such they are in the position to take on an enterprising and ambitious Quality Manager to be responsible for the entire quality process while striving for continuous improvement.This is a hugely varied role where you will be taking ownership of the quality process. No two days will be the same but key responsibilities will include leading and training a small team of quality engineers, conducting internal & external audits and creating and implementing procedures for continued process improvement.The ideal candidate has quality management experience in an aerospace or mechanical environment.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to play a pivotal role in a prestigious and forward thinking aerospace company.The role:

* Quality manager

* Monday to Friday days based

* Leading a team in a prestigious and successful company

* Taking ownership of entire quality process

* responsible for creating and implementing process improvements across the company in line with their 0 defects policy.The person:

* Experience leading and developing technical teams

* in depth knowledge of all quality principles (8D CAPA, PPAP, FAIR)

* experience working to ISO9001 standards (AS9001 beneficial)
