DescriptionAutomation Test Engineer - Manchester - FinTechAs a Test Engineer you'll play a key role in a multi-disciplined, Agile focused software team, with the opportunity to influence tools and testing approaches.This highly involved role would be ideally suited to a hands-on and experienced Automation Test Engineer who can carry out a range of manual and automated testing techniques on software products and features.Working collaboratively with delivery team to ensure quality throughout the delivery process from sprint planning to completion.Champion new ideas and identify areas of improvement across the entire test process.Utilizing automated tests to identify defects and ensure the results are reported and defects are triaged, whilst feeding into technical standards and the continuous improvement of the testing suite.ProfileWe are looking for driven, passionate Test Engineers who are striving to use the best tools and ideas available to them and who want to work on varied projects. Essential skills and experience:· Hands-on automation testing background, across UI, Frontend, Backend, web APIs and mobile.· Ability to create automated scripts, using C#.· A good understanding of code, in any language.· The ability to take responsibility, prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.· Confident, decisive and adaptable, with good communication skills.Nice to have:· Financial services, loans or other regulated environment.· Ability to integrate test cases on CI/CD pipelines, using Octopus or VSTS.· Mobile App automation testing.Job OfferThe salary is dependent on level of experience and can be discussed in your screening call with the recruiter.
