UX / UI Designer London / WfH to £425 p/day

UX / UI Designer (Web Mobile B2B) *12 month contract £425 p/day outside IR35*. Are you an experienced UI /UX Designer? You could be joining a tech company that specialise in solutions for the maritime / shipping industry using complex data to derive insights across regulatory conformance, sanctions screening, trade compliance, tracking, monitoring and ship security.

As a UX / UI Designer you will create product designs and design the user journeys and user experience across the company's suite of digital products, working in close collaboration with the product team. You'll gather, analyse and validate user requirements by working with users/customers, business stakeholders and technology leads to create compelling user flows, storyboards, mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes and requirements specifications; designing products with data analytics workflows built in and creating artistic themes for the UI, such as icons, toolbars and buttons.  

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home with regular visits to the Central London office (i.e. once a week / fortnight).

Requirements:

You have strong web and mobile UI / UX design experience

You're degree educated in a relevant field or have indepth knowledge of one of the following areas: Human Computer Interaction, UX Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Design Research, Psychology, Anthropology, Prototyping, Strategy

You're creative and collaborative with a flair for taking product concepts through to compelling user experiences

You have a good knowledge of UX design methods including paper prototyping, storyboarding and UX cartooning, white-boarding and wire-framing and with tools such as Balsamiq, InVision, Sketch and Adobe Photoshop
