A very well-known and leading software house, based in the heart of Manchester have an exciting opportunity for several Full Stack PHP Developers to join their team on a permanent basis. The PHP Developer will have the opportunity to improve the functionality, scalability and security of their existing platforms. The PHP Developer will be required to support the whole development life cycle, demonstrate code written to PSR coding standards and have previous experience working on large scale enterprise applications. Ideally, the Senior PHP Developer should have great communication skills to take technical specification as this is a great opportunity to become an integral part of the business and shape the solutions they provide. The successful Senior PHP Developer should ideally have a good understanding of improving key infrastructure and some security knowledge or a desire to pick up new skills within this area.
Key Skills:
3-5 years development experienceExperience working with OOP, including PHPStrong experience with MVC techniques, including LaravelWorking on large scale platformsExperience with MySQL and PostgreSQLGood front end knowledge, HTML/CSS and JavaScriptModern JavaScript knowledge, Vue.js ideallyWorking with large scale API integrationsImproving functionality and user interfacesTesting using PHPunitExperience with AWS or similar platformsWorking in an agile environmentNice to haves:
