If you offer considerable experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and cyber security, this is an opportunity to play a key role providing a safe and secure online environment for staff and students at Emanuel School.
Emanuel School is at an exciting time in the development of its digital teaching platforms and extending the use of Microsoft services to support teaching and learning. As Infrastructure Administrator, you will drive forward the use of Microsoft services with a whole school solution of Microsoft Teams and OneNote Class Notebooks for teaching, as well as SharePoint for document management. The role will also lead on moving towards more use of Azure services.
You will work with the IT team to ensure the school provides a safe and secure online environment for pupils and staff and that appropriate security policies are implemented, and e-safety and cyber-security are at the forefront of every decision. This will include providing support with Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Exchange and Azure. You will also provide support with the management of mobile devices, assist with disaster recovery and backup and work with the Systems Administrator to maintain the school's server infrastructure. During busy periods, you will also provide support to the IT Helpdesk.
Key to the role will be your excellent problem solving and customer services skills with the ability to grasp and implement new concepts and technologies quickly.
