IT Field Services Support Manager (Working from Home) I am looking for someone who has managed a large IT Field Services Team of engineers. This is a UK wide role but would probably be best if someone was based in the Midlands for obvious reasons. You will be managing a team of circa 15 engineers who support Cisco/PCs/VMWARE/IP Telephony for an organisation that has sites across the country. This role is also to take the team through a transformation as you are merging two different parts of the business, so some strategic acumen would be expected as a re-structure and cross skills programme would need to be put in place. I am ideally looking for someone who is still very technically savvy as you may need to cover the occasional call in desperate circumstances. The role is expecting you to be on the road 50% of the time and 50% in the office, but early on you would be expected to get around the country visiting the engineers and sites. I am really looking for someone who has done this before as managing field is very different to onsite. Please apply for more details
