You must have a good general understanding of SQL, and the ability to present complex information in simple, yet accurate language, to be considered for this role.

The primary responsibilities for this position are as a Tableau report and dashboard developer. You will support the Senior Business Intelligence Developer and work closely with several executive-level leaders in the organization to utilize Tableau to design, develop, enhance, and support Tableau visualizations including highly interactive dashboards and reports. 

This position, along with their team, is responsible for the overall development, delivery, maintenance, continuity and support of our reporting and insights systems. Additionally, the role will be charged with working across teams to understand and visualize data from enterprise systems such as our CRM, ERP, procurement, HR and financial planning applications.

Responsibilities

Develops reports and dashboards that provide information for decision making leveraging the data warehouse and other backend data sources for business reporting needs.

Build and publish customized interactive Tableau reports and dashboards as well as manage extracts and refresh schedules using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud.

Execute data queries across multiple data sources in support of business intelligence reporting needs.

Participate in QA testing, liaising with other project team members and being responsive to business users needs, all with an eye on details in a fast-paced environment.

This person will work to end users are well positioned with the training and knowledge needed to effectively use the systems and insights to their fullest.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Math, or related major or equivalent.

Facility with ANSI SQL language

1 year of experience in database design, data warehousing, SQL, and reporting solutions.

Experience in creating clean, insightful dashboards using Tableau.

Solid understanding of data management concepts - data processing, analysis, visualization, security and discovery.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

 1 year of Tableau development experience.

Experience in developing low-latency, reliable reports; designing with data visualization best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan their own work, while aligning with project priorities and changes to priorities.
