You will provide hands-on, technical support to end users across. range of technologies, predominantly within the Microsoft space.Client DetailsMichael Page are proud to be partnered with one of the most exciting Manufacturing businesses, who have a new site in the Midlands.The business are developing incredible products, that will have a profound impact on improving the world over the next 10 years and beyond, so it's an extremely rewarding organisation to be a part of.You'll join a superb, team-based culture, where you'll get the chance to be involved in a range of IT support issues, largely at the headquarters in Coventry, and build a genuine career as part of a growing team.DescriptionAs the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will join a small team, taking responsibility for on-site IT incidents that are escalated from the Service Desk.You will have regular face-to-face interaction with end users, and be a key focal point at the Coventry HQ for troubleshooting and fault resolution for the userbase, which is made up of approx. 300 end users.The majority of the work you will cover will be desktop-based, spanning Windows 10 and Mac OS users, but you will also branch out into networking and server-based infrastructure responsibilities, covering Cisco Meraki and Windows Server technologies.The role will be both BAU and project-based, and you will cover areas such as project rollouts of applications using SCCM and InTune, in addition to general BAU support of both hardware and software issues.You will be key to the onboarding of new starters, providing an expert IT service which will include PC/Laptop and peripheral device setups, software installations, and user creation via Active Directory.Whilst the majority of the role will be done either remotely, or from the Coventry head office, you will also be required to travel to another local Midlands satellite site from time-to-time, so a full, clean, UK driving license is essential.ProfileAs the successful candidae for the 2nd Line IT Support Engineer vacancy, you will be experienced in hands-on, technical support to end-users across:Windows 10.Active Directory.Office365.InTune.SCCM.PC/Laptop Break-Fix.Basic networking - DHCP, DNS.Job Offer£30,000 - £35,000 + Corporate Benefits.
