Brand new role for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C++ expertise to join a well-funded startup in the 3D sensor industry. I am seeking a capable Embedded Software Engineer with a knack for technical challenges and the ability to deliver complex software projects. Based in Derby, London OR remotely!! Suitable Embedded Software Engineer will have strong academics and 1- 3 years expertise with the following capabilities:A proven track record of design and implementation of software in C/C++ in an embedded environmentExpertise creating complex software for a real time applicationExperience with ARM SoCs etc.Experience with drivers and the Linux kernel Understanding of software threads, hardware threads, schedulers, mutexes,semaphores, etc.Experience with building and tailoring Linux distributionsAgile development expertiseAnyone with the following would be very useful:
Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS or bare metal implementationsExperience with Linux kernel development and optimizationExperience with heterogeneous computing architectureKnowledge in functional safety and code quality standards for industrial and automotive applicationsKnowledge of relevant lidar, camera, radar or depth camera technologiesExperience with clustering, tracking, fusion or machine learning algorithms
