Overview
Precisely is seeking a seasoned Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join their expanding EMEA team to support the Precisely Data Quality (DQ) line of software solutions. You must have experience in solutions that focus on Data Quality, Data Integration and Data Enrichment strategies. This individual will work in the field to help existing sales teams with new customer opportunities, translate customer business and technical requirements to Precisely solutions, drive the technical discussions, deliver custom demonstrations, and implement technical proofs-of-concept. This individual will be comfortable working in a result driven, highly motivated sales team. There will be significant opportunity to influence product design and positioning, with an ideal candidate being a thoughtful and persuasive contributor.
This position is remote in the United Kingdom
Responsibilities
Collaborate and work positively and effectively with Sales team as well as cross functional groups in Engineering, Marketing and Product Management
Must be able to deliver remote and onsite PoCs, Assisted Trails, custom demonstrations for all Data Quality products
Be able to clearly articulate value of recommended solution to customers/partners, across all levels (C-level to technical)
Establish excellent personal relationships with customers/partners
Display a high level of technical expertise/experience, understand performance characteristics and establish credibility with customers/partners
Lead technical discovery process to fully understand customers/partners business requirements
Proactively scope, define and recommend technical solutions to satisfy customers'/partners' business requirements
Work with internal stakeholders for alignment of solution with customers/partners business requirements
Qualifications
Five+ years of specific presales experience within data management covering elements such as Data Quality, Data Governance, MDM, CRM, ETL, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence on Hadoop or traditional environments
Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal; from introductory meetings stage up to C-Level
Proven experience of effective support for closing deals with (or within) enterprise / multi-national corporations
Experience with Data Quality tools including: Informatica, Talend, Trillium, Spectrum, etc. is a plus
Experience using Cloud applications, e.g. Cloudera CDP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
Experience with ETL tools including: DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, Pentaho or Talend is advantageous
Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and Linux/Windows knowledge required
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management or other related technology disciplines. (Candidates with non-technical degrees or relevant work experience will be considered if able to demonstrate sufficient technical proficiency and expertise)
