As part of this recruitment drive, we are currently looking for a Network Operations Engineer to be based in Leeds.DescriptionWhat you'll be doing?As Network Engineer (Network & Telephony) you will be responsible for ensuring that the technologies remain secure, protecting data and users from cyber-attack and unauthorized loss. This role will engage with users, supporting their needs and ensuring that a high quality customer-focused service is delivered.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage an Infrastructure Operations (Network & Telephony) team shiftPlan, budget and account for the Infrastructure Operations (Network & Telephony) Team's workContinuously monitor and operate network and telephony technologies (on-premise, PaaS, IaaS and SaaS), ensuring technologies remain available 24/7/365, performant to SLAs/OLAs, and delivering a good user and customer experienceLead the proactive identification and resolution of infrastructure issues before they impact the user/customerLead the delivery of Incident Management, diagnosing the root causes of incidents, developing work arounds and fixes, to return infrastructure and users to an operational conditionLead the delivery of Problem Management, diagnosing root causes of problems, prioritising maintenance activity and developing fixesProfileKey Skills & Experience:Experience of leading engineering teamsProven experience with WAN and LAN switches (Meraki), Wireless Access Points (Meraki), firewalls (Cisco and Palo Alto), Load-balancing (Citrix Netscaler), Virtual Private Network (VPN), VOIP telephony and contact centre and collaboration technologiesExcellent communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Microsoft OfficeDelivering at PaceMaking Effective DecisionsManaging a Quality ServiceJob OfferSalary:£39,000paAdditional Benefits:27% Pension Contribution
