Title: Category AssistantDepartment: TradingOffice Administrator Job Purpose:To support the Category team with all Administrative tasks relating to category and representing the Category when liaising with key stakeholders.Office Administrator Job Duties:Product File ManagementUpdating the product master file and PLOFSetting up new suppliersSetting up new productsActivation and deactivation of products Promotions ManagementBuilding master promotional planCompile promotional write ups (summary) and manage updatesDefining pagination for all promotion leaflets - Depot POS/Retail ClubApproval of brochures -Depot POS/Retail ClubPrepare POS - proof-reading drafts and signing off accurate copyReview YOY promotions by supplier and challenge any shortfallsDigital Activities - book slots with Marketing, follow up on digital bookings with suppliers and provide artwork to MarketingLiaising with suppliers on corrections related to retro's Price ManagementAdministering price queriesResolving invoice queries TeamworkPrepare Communications to branches on key changes within the product category.Manage clearance of short dated productsCommunicating with the Retail TeamUpdating the Marketing board with all the digital activities for suppliers Office Administrator Skills and Qualifications:Prior office administration experience preferred; ability to multitask, strong attention to detail; ability to work without supervision; excellent time management skills; exceptional communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong prioritisation and organisation skills; ability to handle confidential information; strong record keeping skills; presentation skills.
