Role: Director of QualityLocation: GalwayIndustry: Medical Devices An exciting opportunity has come about with a key account of ours for an experienced quality leadership professional to join their team and manage a team of 20 employees across quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities and have at minimum the below experience and qualifications: A diploma / Bachelor's degree , certificate or other evidence of formal qualification, awarded on completion of a university degree or of a course of study recognized as equivalent by the Member State concerned, in law, medicine, pharmacy, engineering or another relevant scientific discipline (Quality Assurance Degree), and at least one year of professional experience in quality management systems relating to medical devices10 years of professional management experience in regulatory affairs or in quality management systems relating to medical devicesMust have experience in people leadership role (at least 3 to 5 years)Solid quality engineering and systems backgroundDemonstrated knowledge and application of Design ControlsDemonstrated knowledge of Quality AssuranceProven track record in managing and building high performance teamsExceptional leadership and technical competenciesExcellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate to all levels of an organizationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure business success and ensuring complianceStrong leadership skills, including influencing and team developmentThorough knowledge of QSR and ISO quality system requirements To learn more about this role and have a confidential conversation please apply to this job post today.
