Are you a Quantity Surveyor seeking an opportunity to join one of the nation's largest suppliers in Structural Steel products for the UKs largest construction contractors? In this role you will manage the commercial contracts working on varied duties. You will be involved in projects from pre-tender to post contract duties involving budget reporting, building relationships with suppliers including , attend meetings contributing with forecasting, company strategy and present cost control findings. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Quantity Surveying role ideally from a infrastructure/civils background with a qualification in the relevant sector. You will have knowledge of health and safety regulations, previous experience in creating and presenting cost management/forecasts and confidently support all projects with operational needs in mind. The Role:Create reports and findings on business operational activities.Attend procurement meetings with suppliers and sub contractors.Produce contracts and manage contractual documents.Estimating, cost reporting and planning for projects and new tenders.The Person:Quantity Surveyor.HNC or equivalent in the sector.Experience in JCT/NEC3 desirable.Strong IT knowledge.
