West Yorkshire Pension Fund West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for over 400 employers based throughout the UK. Currently we are recruiting for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us in the following key roles: Web Developer
PO4/PO5 £38,890 - £44,863 pa (Pro rata for Part Time)
1 x 37 hours per week You will have prime responsibility for designing, optimising and maintaining WYPF websites making information as accessible and appealing as possible. You will support users of WYPF's IT systems, both internal and external within our client base, to enable maximum benefit to be extracted from our systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the special needs of all WYPF web customers are met and that the fund meets its responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act responsibilities at all times. You will need to suggest ideas and solutions from your own industry knowledge, and be confident in implementing these. You will have: 5 years' experience of designing print/exhibition communications materials, including 3 years' experience of website design/development in asp.net an innovative and creative problem-solving mindset Ability to hit the ground running, and to create and lead a small Development team Proven track record of commitment to continual professional development. A relevant degree, with website development qualifications or relevant demonstrable practical experience. Prior commercial web development experience with proven success in projects Experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript or alternative web technology Experience of developing code for Mobile and Tablet devices In return, for all of the above positions, we can offer: - Flexible working - LGPS Pension - Ongoing training and development All of the roles are based at Aldermanbury House, Bradford City Centre however, due to the impact of COVID-19 there has been a requirement for homeworking.
