Job Description Who are we looking for? As the Business Systems Technical Lead, you will play a key role in managing our ERP system (U4BW) covering Finance, Procurement, HR, and System Administration business processes. This role will give you the opportunity to apply technical expertise, with a focus on developments and reporting, along with interfaces between U4BW and other business systems. You will be helping to support a user base of circa 1500 users, communicating effectively on an individual basis as well as at an organisational level. If you are excellent at problem solving, have good analytical skills and possess the ability to read and write SQL coding, as well as keen to work on your own initiative, then this vacancy might be the perfect opportunity for you. What will you be responsible for? -Providing technical leadership for UKAEA's UNIT4 ERP system
-Managing any interfaces between U4BW and other Business Systems
-Providing expertise in analysing issues and resolving problems by reading/writing/ amending SQL coding
-Producing all the documentation to support the design and configuration of the changes, along with documentation for end users.
-Supporting the Business Systems Team with U4BW upgrades and updates, development projects and security measures
-Providing technical advice and guidance
-Responsible for keeping up to date with Unit 4's developments Qualifications Essential skills, experience and competence required -Advanced MS Excel and MS Word experience (including Excel data manipulation, pivot tables and similar excel functionalities)
-Demonstrable competence in the development of documentation including screenshots and guidance
-Ability to read and write SQL coding, and have the capacity to do or learn other similar required skills.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team and be able to interact with a wide range of personnel both internal and external.
-A clear understanding of GDPR requirements and experience of dealing with personal and confidential data
-A levels or equivalent knowledge and experience
-Previous experience in a technical based role supporting users and organisations with ERP databases Desirable skills, experience and competence -Experience with Unit 4 Business World application
-Understanding of fundamental business HR/Procurement/Finance and Project processes and procedures.
