About the role Change has become the new normal and that makes it an exciting time to join us. As a Change Lead, you'll act as the conscience within the project, programme or value stream, putting people (rather than process or technology) at the heart of change. In short, it's all about understanding and meeting the real needs of our customers inside and outside of MI6. Not only will you validate the case for change, but you'll also ensure this is communicated in a compelling way, to the right audiences through the right channels. Making people aware of the benefits of change is vital, so you'll develop and implement a robust benefits realisation plan. Throughout, you'll ensure our stakeholders are engaged, ready to play their part in the process of change and prepared to adopt new ways of working. About you Qualified to Practitioner level in Change Management, you'll have a proven track record of delivering success. You bring experience of working to agile methodologies and in end-to-end change management, ideally within differing environments. Familiar with a range of change management tools and frameworks, you're confident about choosing the combinations that deliver the best results. Your approach is structured and you're 100% quality focussed. It's also important you're approachable and quick to connect with different business and stakeholder groups. You thrive on engaging positively with all sorts of people with different backgrounds, approaches and perspectives. That includes more junior colleagues, whom you'll mentor and nurture. If successful, you will not normally be required to give up your non-British citizenship but, as a condition of your employment or secondment, MI6 may impose restrictions on your postings, work travel and/or general use of that nationality. Candidates must normally have been resident in the UK for seven out of the last ten years. This is particularly important if you were born outside the UK. Each case will be carefully considered on its own facts. You can apply at the age of 17 years and 6 months, if successful you will not be offered a start date prior to your 18th birthday.
