A large Financial institution is looking for multiple Big Data Developers to join their team in the digital transformation team. The successful Developer will have experience in Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in an ETL programming role with query optimisation techniques, preferably in the big data contextMinimum 7 to 10 years Proven experience in data analyst / engineering role with programming skills in HiveQL / SQLExperienced in manipulating the large data sets in the ETL and data modelling contextsExperience with Pentaho Data Integration and / or SAS is an advantageExpert in ETL (Extract Transform Load) developmentHands on experience in Big Data, HIVE, Pentaho (ETL Tool) architectureData Extraction from Teradata, HIVE, Oracle, and Flat filesExperience in Creating Mappings, Mapplets, and Transformations for loading Target tablesKnowledge of the standard data cleaning methods, and methodologies for assessing data qualityThis is a contract position that is based in London, but is remote for the foreseeable. on apply for your CV to be considered.
