Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester / Network Forensics IT Risk & Compliance Cyber Security Analyst who has some experience working within this space and has a real interest supporting the business in all things cyber security is required for a FTSE250 Company based in York, Yorkshire.
Graduates with some relevant commercial experience will be considered providing you have a solid understanding of computer and network security and hands on experience of basic vulnerability assessment tools, such as Nmap / Zenmap, burp suite, or research sites such as shodan.io, virustotal.com etc.
SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: York, Yorkshire with 2/3 days a week working from home
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester / Network Forensics IT Risk & Compliance Cyber Security Analyst who has some experience working within this space and has a real interest supporting the business in all things cyber security.
Working as the Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester / Network Forensics IT Risk & Compliance Cyber Security Analyst you will work with the Cyber CEO and alongside the rest of the Cyber Team, where will assist in analysing security threats and vulnerabilities within current IT infrastructures, websites and any other digital / IT networks and systems.
As the Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester / Network Forensics IT Risk & Compliance Cyber Security Analyst you will also analyse data to look for trends and provide key insights into cyber threats and how to prevent them. You'll also be involved in Pen testing / ethical hacking of customer's systems to ensure they are doing all they can to protect themselves from attacks.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has their finger on the pulse of the Cyber Market who is energetic, passionate and driven, with a genuine interest in cyber risks.

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester / Network Forensics IT Risk & Compliance Cyber Security Analyst will include:
Supporting the Cyber Team through the execution of cyber security projects
Management of cyber awareness training platform
Managing the cyber claims analysis and creating quarterly and annual internal and external claims trends reports
Develop monthly cyber bulletins and thought leadership pieces for both internal and external use
Provide subject matter expertise and training to support the different cyber business units
Gathering cyber threat intelligence to provide relevant information and ways of managing cyber security threats to involved stakeholders
Keeping up to date with the latest security and technology developments and generating reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
Supporting the Director of Cyber Education and Advisory in engaging in 'ethical hacking', for example, vulnerability scanning of customers or potential customers, to help enhance underwriting decisions
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a cyber security or closely related post
Ideally experience of risk management and reporting
Solid understanding of computer and network security
Hands on experience of basic vulnerability assessment tools, such as Nmap / Zenmap, burp suite, or research sites such as shodan.io, virustotal.com etc. is essential
Desire to identify emerging issues, interesting new approaches, and be ready to make recommendations
Strong skills in Excel, as well as experience in building reports and analysing for insights
Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
Self-starter with the ability to get on with tasks without needing constant direction
