EV Design and Estimating Specialist

Remote Based

£45,000 - £55,000 + Opportunity to Gain Qualifications + Progression + 28 Days Holiday and Bank Holidays + Pension + Permanent Working From Home Contract

Are you looking for a progressive and forward thinking business where you work towards Incorporated Engineer status with IET? Do you want to work for a company that has the capacity to win exciting EV contracts?

This company specialises in Multi-utility solutions for a range of residential, industrial and commercial properties and has been operating for over 20 years. They put emphasis on ensuring that customers are supported in their attempts to become net-zero and are looking for EV Design and Estimating specialists to help sustain that goal.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within an ICP/IDNO and be proficient in the use of CAD. You will have good analytical and customer facing skills with the ability to work within a fast paced environment and must hold a HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. It would be advantageous if you had previous experience using Windebut.

There will be a clear path to progress within the company thanks to the organic structure in place. This role is a key position within the company where you will be seen as an industry specialist on all aspects of EV design and estimating.

The Role:

*EV Design and Estimating Specialist

*Prepare tender documents for submission

*Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including DNO/IDNO's, clients and internal construction teams

*Specialist on EV turnkey design solutions and estimation on pre bid forms

*Consult with in house EV bid team

The Candidate:

*HND Electrical Engineering

*Experience working in an ICP/IDNO company

*CAD Experience

*Strong customer facing and analytical skills

*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
