Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Spalding, Lincolnshire (Commutable from: Peterborough, Boston, Bourne, Sleaford, Chatteris, Wisbech, Kings Lynn)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, with Solidworks experience, looking to join a family business where you will step up leading bespoke projects from concept to completion?

On offer is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for designing innovative new equipment and making amendments to their growing product range.

This is an excellent opportunity to join this specialist firm as they continue to expand and break into new overseas markets.

You will be responsible for managing your own projects, producing BOMs, new product development, liaising with manufacturers and suppliers

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, with Solidworks experience, looking to play a pivotal role in a growing business and design bespoke specialist machinery.

The Role:

*New product development and improving existing designs

*Producing CAD Drawings and BOMs

*Occasional overseas travel meeting with manufacturers and suppliers

The Person:

*Mechanical Design Engineer

*Experience manufacturing metal products
