Back Office Business Analyst

International Banking Group - 6 Month Contract

PAYE Umbrella: £500pd - £525pd + 17.3% PAYE Uplift*

Currently Home Working, Later Central London

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Business Analyst to support the Back Office stream for onboarding an affiliate onto the securities platform for Interest Rate and Credit products.

Key Purpose of Role

*Business requirements gathering and input into technical design documents.

*Review and provide input into As-is and To-be workflows.

*Perform GAP analysis between the bank and the affiliate.

*Provide estimates for Back Office delivery to feed into project approval process.

*Formulate testing approaches.

*Competing project/work-stream status reports

*Ad-hoc support for any new requirements / issues related to Back Office stream

*Support affiliate as being primary contact for all Back Office related tasks and issues.

*Dealing with trade lifecycle queries

Skills / Experience Required

*Experience as a BA for a Top Tier Bank

*Excellent knowledge and experience of OPS functions

*Good knowledge across asset classes

*Knowledge of Murex platform

*Understanding of Vanilla Interest Rate products

*Understanding of Markitwire and ICELINK interfaces

*Understanding of IR and CRD clearing processes

*Strong delivery track record, able to take ownership of leading the Back Office Stream

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is Inside IR35 and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. The day rate on offer is £500 - £525pd + a 17.3% uplift. The uplift covers Employer's NI (13.8%), Pension (3%) and the Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) so that these are not deducted from your day rate.
