This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a great financial business services consultancy! I am currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to come on board on a permanent basis, with the start date being as soon as possible. This hands-on data scientist position will utilise languages such as Python, R, SQL, Hadoop/ Hive and harness the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in the industry right now whilst working with structured and unstructured Data. You will be responsible for solving a range of different business problems ranging from financial crime detection, improve product take-up rates, customer retention and portfolio optimisation using a number of different data science techniques. Essential Skills Confident Python ML software coding skills
Demonstrable hands-on experience with ML libraries (such as scikit-learn and/or TensorFlow)
Commercial hands-on Data Science experience
Broad understanding and experience of ML/AI principles (key assumptions and benefits of ML/AI; algorithm types; experiment design; limitations etc)
Fluent communicator in both written and spoken English, with an engaging personality and a professional and approachable style
Strong client-handling skills
Experience in ML applications such as: Deep Learning, NLP, Information retrieval, Text mining, Bayesian models, Graph theory, Recommendation engines In return you will receive a salary from £60,000 to £100,000 plus an extensive package of benefits.
