Role: Systems EngineerLocation: Cheltenham / RemoteDuration: 12 monthsRate: up to £55/hourInside IR35 Our client are a world leader in providing aircraft engines, systems and avionics. They are currently looking for 8 experienced systems engineer with expertise in avionics, knowledgeable in full system development lifecycles to join their team for an initial 9 month period (likely to extend to 18 months)Engineer with experience on the Systems Development Lifecycle (ARP474A) and in the following:Preparation of the technical specifications and interfaces for Electrical Power Distribution System, including review and evaluation of legacy artefactsProvide technical Support in hardware and software integration for the Electrical Power Distribution SystemPreparation and review of Systems & Electrical System test plan and procedures, including review and evaluation of legacy test artefactsSupport in design reviews collaborating with other stakeholders (Certification, Safety, Quality) to realise project commitmentsEssential responsibilities:Requirements development, review and management using DOORSDefining verification strategies and authoring verification proceduresWill support remaining team members and performing oversight/coordination of working with 3rd party suppliersQualification/Experience: Team working essentialKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g. DXL) an advantage.Knowledge of MATLAB an advantage.Degree in Engineering/TechnologyTo apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
