Cyber Security Account Director - Financial Services

£90,000 - £110,000 per annum



Company client is seeking a Financial Services client-facing Senior Business Development / Account Director for their FTSE-listed Technology & Cyber Consulting client. The role, remotely based, pays up to c£110,000 basic plus the opportunity to double OTE via sales bonuses, car, flexible choices etc.

As their new Senior Business Development Manager, youll ideally bring an established network across the CISO offices of UK based banking and insurance institutions, first-hand experience of prospecting, developing and closing business and an understanding of Banks digital transformation journey and the importance of Cyber Security.


You will be as comfortable developing new business from early leads as you will be in directing large established accounts or tenders. You will have experience of building multi-disciplinary integrated account and opportunity teams, and working with partners and consortia to lead the market and win business.

Essential Skills:

To apply for this position we would expect to see previous experience in:

* Managing, growing and diversifying Financial Services Accounts - with particular focus on the insurance vertical; achieving targets relating to growth in pipeline, sales, revenue and margin, whilst ensuring a strong cash collection position
* Profiling and focused targeting of prospect FSI clients in the UK market, securing new business and driving penetration of the sector
* Experience and conversant in Cyber Security or allied industries such as IT services, Digital Transformation or High Tech
* Experience in cloud / digital transformation

As well as experience in:

* Banking, Financial Services and Insurance in the UK
* Experience engaging at a senior level to understand client requirements, developing long term relationships, and understanding the sector and its trends
* Demonstrable experience in working as part of a high-performing consultative Sales team, and consistent delivery of growth targets and objectives
* Commercial creativity and the ability to develop innovative and high-value business models with clients
