Enterprise Data Architect - FTC
London
Up to £85,000 per annum


We are looking for an experienced Enterprise level Data Architect to work with a leading Financial Services organisation.

This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract where the initial focus of the role will be to address a governance review, finding ways to identify key data domains to categorise their data in a more structured mannor. Establishing clear ownership across the company for Data & IT assets, enabling the adoption of the Data Governance Framework

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify key data domains within the business
* Develop a categorisation scheme for the company data & establish clear ownership
* Develop enterprise data models across data domains
* Support the delivery of a programme that will deliver an enterprise data governance framework across the company - including the Data Strategy & implementations of relevant data artefacts & controls embedded as BAU
* Bring data architecture expertise that allows for the delivery of the data governance programme - providing advise on the best way to manage project and move forward

Key Skills & Experience:

* Extensive experience as an Enterprise level Data Architect
* Knowledge around Data Modelling / Logical ERD - Relational, 3NF, and Dimensional, Star and Snowflake modelling, normalisation, resolution of M:M relationships, foreign keys, dimensions & fact tables, Kimble
* Knowledge around canonical models, physical data modelling, index design
* Master Data Management Key principles
* Experience in the design of he data platform design (including cloud technologies)
* An understanding of the financial services industry would be hugely beneficial
