DevOps Engineer Basingstoke to £45k

DevOps Engineer (AWS Terraform Linux Python Chef IaC Jenkins). Opportunity for a talented DevOps Engineer to join a hugely successful US owned telecommunications company. You could be part of a collaborative and friendly team within a company that offers a fantastic working environment with perks including a large canteen and breakout areas with games consoles and pool tables. The company provide a modern and sophisticated way for contact centres to manage their customers through utilising natural language processing technology.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll be working within one of the company's core teams taking responsibility for all aspects related to reliability and efficiency of the platforms. A large amount of your role will be Automation work and continuously improving services by developing Infrastructure as Code whilst managing highly available, large scale production systems running on AWS. You'll focus on integration projects across other areas of the business and will build all services for the application development team to host software on and create pipelines to automate, update and deploy.

Based in Basingstoke (with parking available and a free shuttle bus to and from the station) you will be working in large offices and can enjoy an excellent work life balance (work from home 2 - 3 days a week).

Requirements:

Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer (will also consider someone more junior who has worked on DevOps / Infrastructure projects)

Experience with AWS is essential

Previous experience with Linux, IaC (Terraform), Chef and Jenkins

Solid understanding of networking and security

Scripting experience ideally using Python but will consider other languages (Go, Ruby, Java)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
