Job Title:Senior Web DeveloperLocation: UK Department/Practice:BFS Job Purpose and primary objectives: This position is for a senior web developer within our Clients and Sales Solution Group focusing on delivering tooling and functionalities for our Sales and Services teams that interact with over 100k clients and help drive revenues for the firm Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Work with technical lead and global product teams to create and evaluate the product roadmap - inputting on what we should be creating and how we should go about it Senior developer in the development of our next wave of web applications for Sales and Service teams; collaborating with designers, writing front-end code and influencing the roadmap of APIs and microservices to ship product increments Hands-on experience with web development practices, languages and libraries: HTML, JS, CSS and jQuery. Experience in frontend frameworks like Angular (or equivalent like React or Vue) is an advantage. Experience in TypeScript or Flow is a plus. Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development Able to work in Linux/Unix environment Experience with multi-tier application architecture and design Flawless written and verbal communication and ability to gain buy-in on plans from a non-technical audience Knowledge of native mobile development (or frameworks like Ionic or React Native) is an advantage but not mandatory Team player able to collaborate and foster a culture of co-creation.Key Skills/Knowledge: ? A minimum of 6 years of development experience in web development ? Passion for technology and data science; meaning you possess a good functional understanding of APIs and algorithms ? Some experience and understanding of both waterfall and Agile project management disciplines, with an emphasis on Scrum and LeanUX ? B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline or extensive related experience Experience required: ? A minimum of 6 years of development experience in web development Duration of the Assignment:12months
