Linux Engineer Cambridge to £45k

Linux Engineer (Infrastructure Linux Web). Are you a skilled Linux Engineer with experience of supporting web based systems?

You could be joining one of the world's most advanced Cyber Security technology companies, their suite of AI driven Cyber Security products use cutting edge Machine Learning and mathematics to protect against an array of threats for clients worldwide.

As a Linux Engineer you will maintain and provide expertise on the existing in-house web-based systems, API connections and change processes, ensuring all internal systems are resilient to failure by designing for high-availability, automating regular backups and completing backup recovery testing. You'll collaborate with different teams across the business and promote a security first mindset.

This is a great opportunity to learn and work with modern technologies such as Ansible, Terraform and GitLab CI.

Requirements:

You have a good knowledge of Linux, ideally Ubuntu

You have coding skills with one or more of the following: PHP, JavaScript, Laravel, Node.js, HTML, CSS, bash, Python, Golang

You're a technology enthusiast with the aptitude and desire to learn

You're degree educated in a STEM discipline
