An NHS Trust is looking to recruit an interim Head of Health and Safety for a period of 6 months to cover a permanent gap within the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for Trust-wide strategic and operational management of non-clinical risk and safety services. Working directly with the Chief Nurse to develop and implement a Business Continuity Strategy to ensure that the Trust fulfils its statutory duties and to provide advice and direction to ensure that the Trust complies with other relevant legislation and guidance.

The post holder will be accountable to the Chief Nurse, Line management responsibilities will be via the AD of Governance and Quality. The successful candidate must be available to offer on-site working for a minimum of 3 days per week with the remainder of the week working from home.
