Network Engineer Bath to £58k

Network Engineer (Cisco Extreme Merchant Silicon). Are you a skilled Network Engineer? You could be joining a technology ISP and working on complex and challenging systems as part of a truly collaborative Agile team, discussing ideas and solving real world problems that affect people's everyday lives.

As a Network Engineer you'll have a broad scope from project based work to deliver 24/7 network monitoring and support, partnering with an outsourced NOC as well as contributing to BAU activities and 3^rd line escalations to ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operation. You'll collaborate with the Head of Network Development and work with software engineering teams.

You'll be based in modern offices in the beautiful City of Bath with lots going on in the local area and excellent transport links. Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with some flexibility going forward.

Requirements:

You have experience as a Network Engineer, ideally within an ISP or Data Centre environment

You have a strong technical knowledge in relation to optical Ethernet, IP transmission and routing (including ISIS and BGP)

You have a broad knowledge of major network vendors (e.g. Cisco, Extreme, Merchant Silicon) with multi-vendor experience

You're familiar with DevOps and automation tools

You're collaborative with great communication skills
