To provide first line telephone and on-site PC/MAC desktop support to RCNi system users, identifying and escalating problems to a more senior level depending on their urgency and technicality. Organising IT admin and work schedules. To keep up to date with IT developments and to assist with developing new ways of working. To act as the first point of contact in the absence of the ITC Manager and to act as the first point of contact in the absence of the ITC Manager, including application and support for MAC systems. The ideal candidate must be a team player, with methodical and flexible approach to problem solving and sound knowledge of network cabling. Excellent organisational skills Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with users at all levels. Ability to work to tight weekly deadlines. Experience of providing support within a Publishing environment would be desirable.
