Here in the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence and Innovation, we are on a mission to transform Lloyds Banking Group. To realise this, we need a shift towards new approaches in developing the processes, systems and applications that underpin the Bank.

We are achieving this by exploiting the capability of ServiceNow, an industry leading tool in automating colleagues' experiences to enhance customer outcomes. Since the implementation of ServiceNow in 2018, we have delivered immense value through the platform, now hosting over 50 business processes spanning Risk, ITSM, Cyber, Change and Customer Payments...and we are just getting started.

We are recruiting for a Senior Developer who will work within a Squad of expert Analysts and Developers to implement solutions that are aligned to the overall platform design principles and strategy, working alongside the Platform Engineering Lead, Product Owners and Platform SME in a highly collaborative environment, Agile environment.

You'll understand all technical aspects of the ServiceNow Platform including:

Demonstrable experience as a technical resource working on the development of ServiceNow solutions

Service Now Solution architecture understanding (desirable, but not essential)

Application UI

Process and solution integration.

Workflow design/configuration.

Reporting

Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)

Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL technologies

About you;

You'll be self-motivated with a proven track record in ServiceNow development and comfortable in the multifaceted atmosphere of a technical organisation with a rapidly growing customer base. In addition, you'll be organised and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment. You'll also demonstrate commercial experience of working within an agile environment.

You'll also have/demonstrate:

Experience of ServiceNow implementations

Decisive, creative, analytical and proactive thinking with effective communication and relationship management

Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs

Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities.

Demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a successful implementation within a Scrum/Agile Team and Structure

*** The base salary range is between £50,000pa and £67,500pa plus the above benefits. This role ideally be based out of either Halifax, Edinburgh or London; predominately we're looking for people with the skillsets above. Salaries in the London area will reflect the higher end of the base salary range***
