A fantastic Engineering Specialist business based in Stirling (Scotland) who produce high technology advanced products for various exciting industries such as the Electrical & Electronics Design, connectivity solutions, Medical Devices through to Artificial Intelligence and many others are now seeking to hire for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join the organisation on a permanent basis.
Work arrangements: The company rule is still that everyone needs to work from home whenever they can, but can use the office, which is still open, only when you need to. If the Scottish government advice changes, the company will then also allow people to work from the office by choice. So, all in all, full remote work is available.Role: The successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will join a highly innovative and team friendly research & development, designing next generation high technology based niche products using the new and latest exciting technologies.
Senior Electronics Design Engineer skills and fundamentals:
4-6+ years industry years’ experienceExperience of working across the full product lifecycleElectronics Circuit Design (Analogue/Digital)PCB Design & Schematic CaptureAltium designer, CADENCE, Proteus, Mentor Graphics, Protel etcHigh speed digital circuit designPrototyping and debuggingProduce and maintain design and test documentationStrong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Desirable nice to have skills:
Experience working microcontrollers and embedded software programming in CCommunication Protocols - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, CAN, Ethernet, BLE, WIFIDesign for EMC and safetyLow power designIndustry experience - Artificial Intelligence, Medical Devices, Smart Technology
